Message Hello all, been awhile since I posted last. (Skip to the bottom if you want to see the reason for this post)

Might as well drop a quick update, I blew up my 1992 NA due to unknown reasons. (Fluids were fine, checked within a week, got loud and killed 2 qts of oil driving 20 miles to work, on the way home (after adding oil back) got REAL loud then... pop.

After that I got a new baby (G35) but missed my Z, so I bought a 1990 TTZ from member DaltonZ.

Bought the car not running, it was having cooling issues. Was getting hot, so he turned it off and let it sit until it sold (to me).

Car has 160k miles, recently new turbos, and a few other aftermarket parts (suspension, intake, exhaust, ECU). Anyway, I checked the health of the engine and it showed low compression and high leakdown on the DS. SO I took the whole engine apart (that's right, removed the heads with the engine still in the car, not as bad as most people say it is) and found a bad head gasket, ruptured cyl 5-6 AND coolant passages on 6.

Checked the heads, nice and warped ~0.016", block warped 0.0018". Had the heads decked 0.018", polished the block, now everything is going back together. I should note that, although not advisable, I am using stock thickness gaskets. This will retard my cam timing 0.55 degrees relative to the block, compression from 8.5 to about 8.9 static, so I'm not too worried about it. I plan on running this engine for ~10k miles while I build a 650HP (GT675RS fed) power plant.

Anyway, back to the question!

I'm about to put the heads back on the car (waiting on some parts from Z1, I ordered late) and saw some light damage to the turbo compressor impeller. Turbine wheel is tan/white which to me means its burning good.

Here are some pictures of the compressor wheels:

So my question, after all those words, is can I use the turbos as they are (cleaned of course) for 10-20k miles (safety factor)?

Thanks
